Becoming a mother changes everything. From the moment I held my son for the first time, my world shifted. Suddenly, every decision felt heavier — every choice I made now impacted the most precious little soul I’d ever known.

One of the first things I noticed as a new mom was how difficult it was to find baby skincare products I could truly trust. Even the items labeled “gentle” or “natural” often came loaded with hidden chemicals, fragrances, or preservatives that had no place on a newborn’s delicate skin.

I was shocked. How could something so sacred as caring for our babies be so riddled with toxins?

Why Baby Skin Needs Extra Protection

Our babies’ skin is thinner and far more absorbent than ours — meaning anything we put on it is quickly absorbed into their tiny bodies. Their immune systems are still developing, and their bodies are more vulnerable to synthetic ingredients and environmental toxins.

Even our water — yes, the water we bathe them in — contains chlorine and other additives that can dry out and irritate sensitive baby skin. I saw it firsthand. After bath time, my son's skin would sometimes appear red or rough, even when I used "hypoallergenic" products.

As a mother, it broke my heart. I knew there had to be a better way.
